STREAM Data Centers: Electrical Technician II
The Electrical Technician II is responsible for all aspects of operations for low and medium voltage plants along with maintenance and repair of all Electrical and Critical Power Systems and Associated Process Systems. Continue to gain experience with all aspects of but not limited to: electrical circuitry, electric controls, switch gear controls, UPS systems, UPS system batteries, emergency power generators, automatic transfer switches, running conduit, pulling wire and cable, calculating electrical loads, electric metering and monitoring, in-depth knowledge of codes, regulations and all required and applied safety standards and practices. Assist with the development of procedures and implement procedures, and emergency response. This role will work with the Electrical Lead to perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance. This role monitors operations and conducts a routine and ongoing assessment of the building systems operations and performance. This role performs tests, rounds and analyzes data to ensure the proper functioning of departmental equipment.
